Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup mota poha/ thick beaten rice


  • 2-3 green chilles


  • 1 onion chopped


  • 3-4 curry leaves


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon mustard seeds


  • garnish; 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves


  • 2 tablespoons sev


  • 2 tablespoons onion chopped


  • 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut shaves


  • 2-4 tablespoons groundnut oil for cooking

Directions

  • Wash poha for removing any impurities
  • Leave 2 tablespoons of water and let them absorb moisture.
  • Heat groundnut oil in a large wok. Add mustard seeds
  • Add chopped chillies, curry leaves
  • Add onions and fry till brown
  • Add salt, sugar, chilli powder, turmeric and mix well
  • Now add in the poha and mix
  • Garnish with sprinkles of chopped onions, coconut shaves, sev and coriander leaves
