Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cup sprouts of whole moong


  • 1/4 cup grated carrot


  • 1/4 cup crumbled paneer


  • 1 chopped tomato (in cubes)


  • 1/8 tsp asafoetodia


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp or to taste salt


  • 1 tsp or to taste red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp gram masala


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger


  • 2 finely chopped green chilly


  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 tbsp mustard oil


  • 1 tbsp tamarind chutney (saunth)


  • 1/4 cup or to taste namkeen bhujia

Directions

  • Heat oil in the pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and asafoetodia when it cracked add ginger and green chilly. Saute nicely for 30 seconds.
  • Add whole moong sprouts . Mix well, stirring for 30 seconds on low flame. Now add all spice and saute. Add 3/4 cup of water. Mix well and close the lid.
  • Cook on high flame and apply a whistle of the cooker. On medium flame switch off the gas with two whistle.
  • When cooker's pressure is released, open the lid. Add gram masala and tomato. Mix well and close the lid for 2 minutes
  • After 2 minutes open the lid. Add lemon juice and pour in the bowl.
  • Add grated carrot, paneer & tamarind chutney while serving.
  • Ready to serve. Garnish with Namkeen Bhujia and coriander leaves. Enjoy !!
