Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1cup black rice


  • 1/4 cup urad dal


  • 2tbsp rice flour


  • 1pinch baking soda


  • 2 tbsp suji


  • 2 tbsp curd

Directions

  • Soak rice and daal for 6 hours in Luke warm water
  • Drain the Water and grind together rice and daal to fine paste using water.consistency should be medium.. divide batter into 2 parts..  
  • For dosa....add pinch of soda, salt, riceflour and water to half batter..mix them well..batter should be flowing consistency..apply Ghee on a non-stick pan and spread the batter as thin as possible using a ladle.spread oil in all corners and allow dosa to cook crispy at low to medium flame..
  • For idli... add suji, curd to leftover batter.. rest for 10 minutes.. grease idli stand and steam idlies as we cook suji or rice idlies..
  • Serve with chutney
