In a bowl add gram flour, and all the spices. Add water and make a batter. It should be neither thick nor flowy.
Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Now peel the potatoes and slice them. Place them on a cotton cloth.
Add one drop of batter in oil, if it comes up immediately tgen oil is ready.
Now dip one slice in batter and drop in oil.
Fry them til golden brown.
Serve hot and crispy pakodi with green chutney.
