Ingredients

Serves : 20
  • 2 large size potatoes


  • 1 cup gram flour


  • 2 green chillis


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 pinch asafotida


  • 1 pinch turmeric powder


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 500 gram oil for frying

Directions

  • In a bowl add gram flour, and all the spices. Add water and make a batter. It should be neither thick nor flowy.
  • Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  • Now peel the potatoes and slice them. Place them on a cotton cloth.
  • Add one drop of batter in oil, if it comes up immediately tgen oil is ready.
  • Now dip one slice in batter and drop in oil.
  • Fry them til golden brown.
  • Serve hot and crispy pakodi with green chutney.
