On a tawa dry roast the oats until it turns slightly brown & then powder the roast in a grinder.
In a pan add 1tsp oil,mustard seeds ,urad dal,Chana dal, & allow the mustard seeds to splitter & the dals to turn golden,to this add the chopped chillies,coriander leaves,grated carrots.Add turmeric powder & add this seasoning to the powder oats mixture & add the curd to it to make a batter.
Grease the idli plates with oil & pour the batter into each area of the steamer.Steam the idlis for 15 mints.
Serve with coriander chutney.
Coriander Chutney-
In a blender or chutney grinder add 1 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves, 1/2 inch chopped ginger, 1 chopped green chilli.
Add 1 or 2 lemon juice ,1/2 tsp cumin powder,salt as required with some water .Blend or grind all the ingredients till smooth.
Serve the coriander chutney with the Oats Idli in breakfast.
