For sambhar Bada..... 1 cup urad dal.. 1 tbs rice 1 ts salt For rava appam...
1 cup Rava
1 tbs curd 1 ts salt 1 onion chopped 1 green chilli chopped 1 tomato chopped 1/2 ts red chilli powder For sambhar.... 1/2 katori tuver ki dal 1 onion chopped 1 tomato. 1/4 cup bottle gourd chopped 1 ts salt 1 ts jeera Pinch hing 1 tbs oil Some curry leaves 1 ts sambhar masala 1 ts turmeric powder 2 ts Dhania powder 1 lemon juice
For sambhar Vada..... 1- soak the Urad dal n rice for 4 hours. 2- Grind both in thich paste 3- add salt mix well. 4- hot the oil make vada in shape n fry till golden yellow. For rava appam.. 1- Take Rava n curd both mix. 2-add sufficient water to make thick batter. 3- add onion, tomato in it add salt n all mix it. 4- hot the appam pan grease with oil add 1 spoon batter in each. 5- roast all till golden yellow. Now change the side of appam. For Sambhar... 1- Soak the dal. Add onion n tomato in batter... Add salt and water take 4 whistle. 2- blend well now add all spices. Boil it. 3- prepare vagahr take a pan add oil jeera n hing add curry leaves and red chilli. Than add this in sambhar. 4- boil it for 15 minutes. Sambhar is ready.
Serve sambhar Vada appam with sambhar chutney.
