Ingredients

  • Mutton trotters 9


  • Onion 2chopped 1 sliced


  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp


  • Salt 2 tsp


  • Pepper pwdr 2 tsp


  • Coriander powder 2 tbsp


  • Pearl barley 2 tbsp


  • Oil 4 tbsp garlic pods 4 to 5 sliced


  • Whole wheat flour 4 tbsp


  • Curd 2 tbsp


  • Cinnamon stick 1 inch pc


  • Cloves 2 to 3


  • Cardamom 2


  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp


  • Red chilli pwdr 2 tsp


  • Coriander pwdr 2 tsp


  • Cumin pwdr 2 tsp


  • Salt 1 tsp


  • Fresh coriander leaves 4 tbsp


  • Pav 8


  • Cooked Khicdi to serve 1 cup

Directions

  • Wash and clean the trotters
  • Place them in a cooker and add the chopped onions, ginger garlic paste, salt, pepper pwdr, barley, green chillies and coriander powder
  • Pressure cook the trotters till 6 whistles
  • Heat oil and add the whole spices and fry till they crackle
  • Add thebalkced onion and saute till golden browb
  • Add the sliced garlic and saute
  • Now add all the dry spices powders. And fry
  • Add the whole wheat flour and saute till the raw smell disappears
  • Add the curd and fry for few mins
  • Now add the boiled trotters and boil for 40 mins
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with pav and khicdi
  • This is a very staple hydrabadi breakfast. Enjoy
