Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago


  • 3-4 boiled potatoes


  • 2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida


  • 6-7 green chillis


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 250 gram oil/ghee

Directions

  • Soak sago for 4 hours. After soaking transfer it in a chhalni and keep it aside for 2 hours, so that extra water can release.
  • Peel the potatoes and grate them.
  • Mix all the ingredients in it and finely chop the green chillis.
  • Now mix it in sago.
  • Take a handful portion and make a ball form it. Flat it a little with help of palm.
  • Now heat 4-5 spoon oil on tawa.
  • When oil heats up drop this flat ball in it.
  • Roast till golden brown. and flip it.
  • Roast this side untill it turns golden brown.
  • Now place it on the edges of tawa, so that extra oil can be released.
  • Serve it with coriander chutney.
