Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3 cups okra washed sun dried and cut into small pieces


  • 3 big onions sliced


  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 2 green chilli sliced


  • 1 teaspoon garam masala


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1 pinch of ASAFETIDA


  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic grated


  • 3 tablespoon sunflower oil


  • 1 tablespoon salt

Directions

  • Put sunflower oil in a pan and roast cumin seeds ginger garlic green chilli
  • Always add ingredients into sunflower oil when it's very hot and start changing color otherwise it will smelling bad from cooked vegetable
  • After roasting cumin mixture add sliced onion and make proper golden
  • Now add cut okra and ASAFETIDA
  • Cook at low flame for 7 to 8 minutes
  • Now add all the spices together but never add salt with all spices.add always in the end to make crunchy and dry
  • Now cook with spices for 12 to 15 minutes and then add salt
  • Now again cook for 3 to 4 minutes to mix well salt with okra
