Ingredients

  • 1-2 cup urad dal soaked over night


  • 1 green chilli


  • 1.5 tsp salt


  • 1/2 cup sour curd


  • 1 tsp mustard seeds


  • 2 cup oil for deep frying


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

Directions

  • take urad dal, salt , green chilly and blend it to smooth paste by adding some water if required.
  • Add red chilli powder and mix well,
  • Heat oil and make small pakoda with the batter and deep fry it.
  • Add it into a bowl of cold water.
  • Take mustard seeds and crush it with mortar pestle.
  • Make buttermilk with the curd by adding some salt and water.
  • Add the crushed mustard into the buttermilk .
  • Transfer the pakodas into the buttermilk and leave this for an hour or more to let the mustard leave its flavours.
  • eat it just like that. it is too soft and tender.
