Take a colander and add Poha to it.Now pour water over poha so that it is rinsed gently and strain the water and keep aside.
Dont let it dry completely.
Take a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, slit green chilies and curry leaves.saute it for 1-2 minutes till color is slightly changed.
Add urad dal, peanuts, onion chopped, mix then add salt, mix well cook till onions are cooked.
Now add tomato chopped and cook till it turns mushy.
Now add drained poha,red chilli powder and turmeric powder,pinch of sugar and mix well and cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
Add chopped coriander leaves.
off the stove.
Take into serving plate and garnish with sev
Tips - If you need tangy taste then add 1tsp tamarind water.
If poha gets dry during cooking sprinkle 1-2tsps of water to make it softer
