Heat 1tblsp oil. Add mustard seeds. Add green chilli, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves , turmeric powder and cook for 2mins
Pour this tadka over mashed potatoes. Add lemon juice, salt. Add Coriander leaves and mix well
Prepare besan batter. Take besan, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder , soda, carom seeds and mix well. Add water and make a thick batter.
Heat oil for frying.
Give shape to patato mixture.
Dip them in besan batter and drop them slowly into hot oil.
Flip and fry them till golden brown.
Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
