Take the soaked split moong in a mixer and grind it to smooth paste.
Add some water if required, salt and grind again.
Keep it to ferment in a large vessel for atleast 8-9 hours.
After 8 hours , heat tawa and grease it with oil.
Stir the batter and pour some on the heated tawa making a small uttapam.
👉For onion uttapam:Add salt to the chopped onion and top it on the uttapam. Pour oil on the sides and flip it.when it is cooked remove on a serving plate.
👉For tomato uttapam:repeat same procedure . Add some red chilli powder and salt in tomato to enchance the taste n colour and then add the topping.
👉For capsicum uttapam :mix in salt, chilli,coriander and capsicum and top it on the uttapam.
👉For masala uttapam: you may use dry potato curry or just mash boiled potato, add salt, turmeric and mix it. Add this topping while making masala uttapam.
Your combo assorted uttapam platter is ready to serve.
