  • 150grms steamed rice

  • 1cup grated coconut

  • 1cup poha

  • For alloo pesto..2big sized alloo pealed diced

  • 3tsp sesame seeds

  • 1cup curd

  • 1tsp cumin powder

  • 5 red chilli

  • 1cup onion chopped

  • 3tsp dri coconut powder

  • 2tsp fried chana dal

  • 1/2tsp turmeric

  • 1tsp salt

  • 3tsp oil

  • 1tsp cumin,mustard seeda

    Take a bowl put steamed rice pour water soak 5 hours

  • 02

    Then take another bowl put poha pour water to soak 1hour

    After that take a blender starin water on rice transfer to blender do same as poha,add coconut

    Blend nicely until it should be soft fine paste like leave for 3 hours to fermentation

    Take deep cadai apply oil on base heat on flame mean while take batter add salt,baking soda mix well pour batter on middle round up cadai with palms it look like round cadai shape close lid wait 5mins once sides get brown color take out do all appam as same way..

    Heat another cadai pour oil add cumin,mustard seeds when it's splits add onion ginger garlic paste keep statue

    Take a blender put sesame seeds,coconut,red chilli,chana dal pour water to make fine paste this is main course paste

    Once onion becomes transparent add potato pieces add salt,turmeric close lid cook 5 to 10mins it should be soft

    Then add main course paste pour water as required keep cook on it once potato perfectly cooked and binds flavour ot means ready to serve

    Serve appam with alloo pesto curry
