Ingredients

  • all purpose flour 1 cup

  • refined oil 1 tbsp

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • refined oil for frying 250 gms

  • for curry 2 medium sized potatoes

  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

  • chopped onion 1

  • mustard oil 3 tbsp

  • zeera 1/2 tsp

  • dhania 1/2 tsp

  • tomato 1 chopped

  • salt to taste 1/2 tsp

  • turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • red chilli powder 1 tsp

  • curry powder 1 tbsp

  • coriander leaves 1 tbsp

  • red chilli 2

  • for tea milk 2 cups

  • sugar 2 tsp

  • tea 2 tsp

Directions

    make a tight dough using all purpose flour,oil,salt and some water

  • 02

    rest it for 15 mins covered

  • 03

    for the curry boil the potatoes

  • 04

    in a pan take mustard oil...

  • 05

    put dry chilli,coriander and zeera and make it crackle

    now add chopped onion and sauté till it changes colour

    add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 min

  • 08

    add chopped tomatoes,salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder and curry powder and mix well

    cook till oil separates

    now add crushed boiled potatoes and mix well

    add water for desired consistency

    boil and simmer it

    now add chopped coriander leaves and it's ready

    for the luchi make small balls out of the dough

    roll it in a rolling pin

    heat sufficient oil in Kadhai

    deep fry these luchi

    do not over cook it and keep it white

    luchi is ready

    for the tea boil milk

    add tea and sugar and boil it for 2 mis

    strain in a cup

    serve luchi,aloo dum and tea
