Ingredients

  • all purpose flour 1 cup


  • refined oil 1 tbsp


  • salt 1/2 tsp


  • refined oil for frying 250 gms


  • for curry 2 medium sized potatoes


  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp


  • chopped onion 1


  • mustard oil 3 tbsp


  • zeera 1/2 tsp


  • dhania 1/2 tsp


  • tomato 1 chopped


  • salt to taste 1/2 tsp


  • turmeric powder 1 tsp


  • red chilli powder 1 tsp


  • curry powder 1 tbsp


  • coriander leaves 1 tbsp


  • red chilli 2


  • for tea milk 2 cups


  • sugar 2 tsp


  • tea 2 tsp

Directions

  • make a tight dough using all purpose flour,oil,salt and some water
  • rest it for 15 mins covered
  • for the curry boil the potatoes
  • in a pan take mustard oil...
  • put dry chilli,coriander and zeera and make it crackle
  • now add chopped onion and sauté till it changes colour
  • add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 min
  • add chopped tomatoes,salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder and curry powder and mix well
  • cook till oil separates
  • now add crushed boiled potatoes and mix well
  • add water for desired consistency
  • boil and simmer it
  • now add chopped coriander leaves and it's ready
  • for the luchi make small balls out of the dough
  • roll it in a rolling pin
  • heat sufficient oil in Kadhai
  • deep fry these luchi
  • do not over cook it and keep it white
  • luchi is ready
  • for the tea boil milk
  • add tea and sugar and boil it for 2 mis
  • strain in a cup
  • serve luchi,aloo dum and tea
