Ingredients
Serves 1
Avocados: 2 (Ripened)
Onion: 1 Small (Finely chopped )
Garlic: 4 Large Cloves (Grated)
Jalapeños: 2 (Deseeded & Finely Chopped)
Lime: 1 (Large)
Salt: 1/2 Teaspoon or As per taste
Bread: 2 Slices
Salami: 4-6 Slices
Mayonnaise: 2 Tablespoons
Directions
(A) To make the Guacamole:
Give a deep cut on the Avocado lengthwise. Do the same on the other side as well. Hold the bottom with one hand & twist the top with the other hand & remove it. Insert a sharp knife in the middle of the seed, slightly twist it & pull it up.
Scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Place it in a medium mixing bowl. Mash it well with the back of a large spoon or potato masher.
Add all the above ingredients to it. Squeeze the Lime Juice. Stir well. *This is slightly chunky & crunchy. If you like it smooth & creamy, just use a Hand Blender & churn it for 30 seconds to a minute at this stage.
Serve with Sandwiches/Nacho Chips/Crisp Fried Pita Triangles, Crisp Toasts/Garlic Toasts or with anything your heart desires.
(B) To make the Sandwich:
Apply Mayonnaise on the inner sides of the bread.
Place the Salami on one slice of bread.
Cover with another slice (mayonnaise side down).
Optional Suggestions: Place hard boiled & halved eggs & two slices of Avocado on top. Sprinkle Salt & Pepper.
Serve with Guacamole on the side in a Bell Pepper bowl as I did.
Bon Appètit!
