Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 cup raw rice

  • 1/4 cup moong dhal

  • 1 t spoon jeera

  • 1 spoon whole black pepper

  • 1 spoon or as needed salt

  • 4 spoon ghee

  • 3 and 1/2 cup water

  • 5,spoon(Handful) curry leaves

  • 4 spoon broken cashews

Directions

    Keep a cooker add dhal and rice

  • 02

    Add salt water and close the lid and leave for 3 whistles and switch off.open and gently smash it.

  • 03

    In a pan add ghee add pepper, cashews,jeera and curry leaves.switch it off once it started splatter.add to the cooked rice

  • 04

    Mix well and serve hot with sambar coconut chutney and vada
