Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 cup little millet

  • 1/4 cup moong dhal

  • 1/4 kg or more jaggery as needed

  • 2 cup milk

  • 3 spoon ghee or as needed

  • 2 spoon cashews

  • 3 spoon raisins

  • 1/2 t spoon cardamom powder

Directions

    Slightly fry moong dhal and keep aside

  • 02

    Keep a cooker add moong dhal,little millet and 2cups of milk and 2 cup water.cover the lid and switch off after 3 whistles

  • 03

    Add 1/4 cup water to the jaggery and let it melt and cool down.then strain it.

  • 04

    Now open the cooker smash it gently add melted jaggery water to the cooked millet and mix well.

    In a small pan add ghee and add cashews , raisins and cardamom powder.switch off and add to the sweet pongal

  • 06

    Healthy sweet pongal is ready
