"EGGLESS"...... "VANILLA JELLY FRUIT CAKE"

Ingredients

Serves 8

  • All Purpose Flour 2 cup

  • Sugar, powdered 3/4 cup

  • Butter 3/4 cup

  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp

  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp and Baking Soda 1/4 tsp

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Whipped cream 1 small bowl

  • Sugar water syrup 3-4 tablespoons

  • Fruits Pomegranate 1/2, Orange 1 and Apple 1/2 sliced

  • Neutral glaze jelly mixed with 1 drop of BabyPink food colour

  • Silver balls 1 teaspoon to put on top for decoration

Directions

    Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda together.

    In another bowl whisk the milk along with sugar, keep aside.

    Add butter till light and fluffy.

  • 04

    Gradually add in vanilla extract.

    Mix in the flour with a spatula by cut and fold method. When uniformly mixed, transfer in a greased baking pan.

    Pre- heat the oven at 150 degree centigrade. Bake for 50 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.

    Cool well, cut in three layers.

  • 08

    Put sugar water syrup along with whipped cream, repeat the process, cover the cake all over nicely, decorate with fruits, put glazed babypink jelly on top.

    Sprinkle silver balls and serve decorated.
