Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 2 cup basmati rice

  • 500 gram chicken

  • 5 spoon oil

  • 1 1/2 spoon salt or as per taste

  • 1/2 spoon turmeric

  • 1 lemon juice 1/2 spoon cumin 2 laung 1 star anise 2 bayleaves

  • For paste- 10 dried red chillies

  • 2 onion chopped

  • 1 pod garlic

  • 2" ginger

  • 2 spoon cumin

  • 2 "cinnamon

  • 2 spoon fennel seeds

  • 4 black cardamom

  • 2 spoon whole coriander seeds

  • 1/2 spoon black pepper

Directions

    Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes in water.

    For the paste, grind all the ingredients to a fine paste.

    Now put oil, cumin, bayleaves, laung and staranise in microproof big bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.

    Now add Chicken and prepared paste , mix well cover and microwave for 10 minutes.

    Add salt, turmeric water and soaked rice .

    Mix well gently cover and microwave for another 10 minutes.

  • 07

    Then add lemon juice, mix gently with fork and again cover and cook for 5 minutes.

  • 08

    Separate the grains with a fork and serve hot.
