2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp Dry Yeast
1 tsp salt
1.5 tsp sugar
3 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Dried rosemary
1 cup or more warm water
2-3 tbsp dried oregano
For Garlic Spread : 10 tbsp Unsalted Butter
10-12 cloves Garlic – grated
2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp or to taste salt
5 tbsp Coriander Leaves, finely chopped
Mix yeast and sugar with warm water and set this aside for 5 mins.let it foam up. Take flour, salt, oil in a bowl and mix well.
Pour yeast mix into the flour and mix well to a dough.
Cover it with plastic wrap or damp cloth and set this aside for 1 hour till it is doubled in size.
Mix all the ingredients for garlic spread together till it form a smooth paste. Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it for 5 min.
Roll the dough into a rough rectangle and Then cut in small squares
Place 1 tsp the garlic fillings over each squar
Close the squares giving a toffee shape. Arrange this in a buttered baking pan leaving little space between each of them. Now cover it with a damp cloth and let it rise for 10 minutes
Preheat your microwave oven to 200 degree C.
Now place the baking tray in the preheated oven, brush them with melted butter and bake for 20 mins.
Take them out and apply some more butter over garlic toffees and enjoy hot with ketchup or salsa
