Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cup grated beetroot


  • 1/2 cup water


  • 2 cup all purpose floor


  • 1/2 cup rawa


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon ajwain


  • 1/2 cup oil for moyan

Directions

  • mix grated beetroot in water
  • boil it and cool it
  • strain it we will get beetroot water for kneading mathri dough
  • take all purpose flour and Rava
  • add salt, ajwain and oil
  • divide it into two parts
  • Knead one part with help of beetroot water
  • keep aside it for 15 minutes
  • knead another by water. And keep aside it for 15 minutes
  • Now take big ball from both dough.
  • Roll it and from cookies cutter or glass cut into small round shapes.
  • Now take 5 small rolls.either from same colour or mix .
  • Apply water over rolls and Keep one over each other from centre of first.
  • Now start rolling and make log.
  • With the help of knife cut into two halves
  • In the same way make all.
  • Set microwave to convection mode.preheat it at 180 degree. Bake at preheated microwave oven at 180 degree for 18 minutes .
