Ingredients

Serves : 12
  • 11/4 cup all purpose flour


  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder


  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  • For custard...1/2 lit milk


  • 2 tbsp vanilla custard powder


  • 1 tbsp cornflour


  • 4-5 drop yellow colour


  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder


  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions

  • Preheat oven at 180° for 10 minutes
  • Grease the round baking mould
  • Sieve the dry ingredients
  • Mix sugar and curd till sugar dissolve
  • Add dry ingredients in it and mix in cut and fold method
  • Add vanilla essence and mix
  • Bake it for 20-25 minutes
  • While cake is baking make custard
  • For custard boil milk and add sugar in it
  • Mix custard powder in 1/4 cup of milk and add it in boiling milk
  • Stir it continuously
  • Divide this custard in two batches
  • In one batch add edible yellow food colour and in second batch add cocoa powder and mix it
  • Take out the cake from the oven and pour one spoon yellow custard on it in center
  • Than pour chocolate custard over it
  • Do this method till all the custard finish
  • With help of toothpick make pattern and let it cool for half an hour in fridge
  • Cut in slices and enjoy
