Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • Wheat Flour 1 1/2 cups


  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon


  • Baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon


  • Condensed milk 3/4


  • Brown Sugar 1/4 cup


  • Ghee 3 big tablespoons


  • Butter 6 tablespoons


  • warm milk 3/4 cup or as required


  • 500 ml milk


  • 1/2 cup unrefined Sugar


  • Pinch Of Baking Soda 1/4 teaspoon


  • Handful of Cashew nuts and Almonds broken into small pieces 8-10 tablespoon along with raisin 7-8pcs


  • Almond extract few drop's ( 1-2 drops only)

Directions

  • Condensed milk recipe; heat 500ml milk , sugar and soda and let it reduce to almost 1/4 of its quantity. Keep stirring in intervals so that it doesn't burn.
  • Preheat oven at 180 degree.
  • Sift flour, baking powder and soda for a few times and keep aside.
  • Beat together butter, ghee, brown sugar, condensed milk, some warm milk and almond extract, till the mixture looks smooth.
  • Add the flour and beat well.
  • Add more milk only if required for free flowing consistency.
  • Pour in the prepared cake baking tin, tap the tin over the counter for a few times, to level the batter.
  • Sprinkle broken cashewnuts and almonds on top of cake, put some raisin and bake for 40 minutes, or until skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Let the pan cool over a wire rack for 5 minutes.
  • Can store in airtight container for a week in refrigerator.
  • Serve warm with Tea or Coffee
