Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Cold Butter 225 grms

  • Powdered sugar 1/2cup

  • Whole wheat flour 2 cups

Directions

    Take the cold butter and cube it

    Now whisk it for 5 mins

  • 03

    Add the sugar and whisk again

  • 04

    Whisking the butter and sugar is an very important step here

  • 05

    Scrape the sides and keep whisking for 10 to12 mins

    Gradually incorporate the flour in 2 tbsp batch

    Add flour and whisk

  • 08

    Once your cookie dough is formed, refrigerate it for 30 mins

    Remove and roll the dough into 1/4 inch thickness

    Cut them into desired shapes

    Pierce holes to avoid them from puffing up

    Again refrigerate the cookies

    Preheat the oven to 180 D Celsius

    Bake the cookies for 15 mins The cookies should still look white from top and little golden from bottom

    Remove them from the oven and cool them on the cooling rack

    The cookies will be crisp but will have that soft effect aswell

  • 17

    If you want your cookies to be more crisp bake a little longer
