Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Cold Butter 225 grms


  • Powdered sugar 1/2cup


  • Whole wheat flour 2 cups

Directions

  • Take the cold butter and cube it
  • Now whisk it for 5 mins
  • Add the sugar and whisk again
  • Whisking the butter and sugar is an very important step here
  • Scrape the sides and keep whisking for 10 to12 mins
  • Gradually incorporate the flour in 2 tbsp batch
  • Add flour and whisk
  • Once your cookie dough is formed, refrigerate it for 30 mins
  • Remove and roll the dough into 1/4 inch thickness
  • Cut them into desired shapes
  • Pierce holes to avoid them from puffing up
  • Again refrigerate the cookies
  • Preheat the oven to 180 D Celsius
  • Bake the cookies for 15 mins The cookies should still look white from top and little golden from bottom
  • Remove them from the oven and cool them on the cooling rack
  • The cookies will be crisp but will have that soft effect aswell
  • If you want your cookies to be more crisp bake a little longer
