Heat the oven to 350F.
Beat the butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl
Fold the cashews ,dates and raisins the rest of the dry fruits in it.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Reduce the oven temperature to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) and continue to bake the cake for another 1 hour 30 minutes or until a long skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
