Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 potatoes diced


  • 1 green chilli chopped


  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic grated


  • 1 big onion grated


  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric


  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala


  • 1 teaspoon garam masala


  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

Directions

  • Take a microwaveable bowl and add water with potatoes to boil
  • Set microwave at 6 to 7 minutes and check potatoes should half boiled
  • Now in a pan add only one tablespoon butter or desi ghee
  • Add cumin seeds mustard seeds ginger garlic green chili
  • Roast them and add grated onion
  • Roast onion until it looks golden
  • Now add half boiled potatoes with all left spices
  • Stay at very low flame and cover the utensil
  • Steam the mixture for 9 to 10 minutes or less
  • Yummy potatoes are ready to serve
