Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 4 potatoes diced

  • 1 green chilli chopped

  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic grated

  • 1 big onion grated

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

Directions

    Take a microwaveable bowl and add water with potatoes to boil

  • 02

    Set microwave at 6 to 7 minutes and check potatoes should half boiled

  • 03

    Now in a pan add only one tablespoon butter or desi ghee

  • 04

    Add cumin seeds mustard seeds ginger garlic green chili

  • 05

    Roast them and add grated onion

  • 06

    Roast onion until it looks golden

  • 07

    Now add half boiled potatoes with all left spices

  • 08

    Stay at very low flame and cover the utensil

  • 09

    Steam the mixture for 9 to 10 minutes or less

    Yummy potatoes are ready to serve
