1 cup all purpose flour (maida)
3/4 cup Powdered sugar
1 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp milk
Preheat the microwave oven on convection mode or OTG at 180 C for at least 10 minutes. Take a large bowl and keep a large strainer over it to sift all purpose flour, baking soda & salt.
Add melted butter & sugar in another bowl. Beat with hand blender until creamy & smooth.
Add vanilla essence. & desiccated coconut. Mix well. Add sifted flour. Combine with spatula or hands. If mixture looks dry add 1 tbsp milk or more. Knead like a dough. If mixture is soft to make patty keep it in fridge for 15-20 minutes.
Line a baking try either parchment paper or aluminum foil. Divide 20 - 25 equal portions of dough. Flatten it between your palm.
Take desiccated coconut in a dish coat top side of cookie in it. Place them on baking tray.
Bake them on pre heated oven for 8-10:minutes or until its edges looks golden brown.
Remove baking tray out of oven. With the help of spatula transfer them on cooling rack. Let them cool on room temperature. Once cooled store them in air tight container.
