Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Bharta Baingan : 1 (Wash and cut into round slices)


  • Salt to taste or 2 tsp


  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp


  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp


  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp


  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp


  • Red chilli flakes 1 tsp


  • Ginger garlic powder 1 tsp


  • Rice flour 2 tbsp


  • Oil 1 tbsp


  • Coriander leaves for garnishig 1 tbsp


  • Sesame seeds for garnishing 1 tbsp

Directions

  • Take salt, Red chilli powder, Coriander powder, Cumin powder, Turmeric powder, Red chilli flakes, Ginger Garlic paste, Rice flour and oil in a bowl. Mix well. Do not add water.
  • Add brinjal slices in it and mix well, till all the slices are coated nicely. Keep aside for 10 mins.
  • Arrange brinjal pieces on a microwave safe plate. Sprinkle oil over the pieces, cook in microwave on high for 2-3 mins.
  • Turn them and cook on high for another 2-3 mins.
  • After this grill for 1-2 min. Brinjal pcs will turn crisp and golden.
  • Allow some standing time and then take it out of microwave oven. Arrange it in platter and garnish with coriander leaves and sesame seeds.
  • Serve hot as side dish with chapati or rice.
