Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 1 1/2 cup aata(wheat flour)


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1.25 cup milk


  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  • 2 tsp melted butter


  • For Icing


  • 3 cup low fat whipped cream


  • 1 cup thin slices of mango

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Now brush baking tin with oil and dust it with little flour.
  • Now for making the batter. Take all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Use a electric beater to mix the batter untill it is smooth.
  • Pour this batter into the tin and place it in oven and bake for 35 to 40 mins.
  • Remove it from the oven carefully and let it cool down completely.
  • Demould the cake and cut it into two halves. On the first half apply the whipped cream all over using the palette knife.
  • Now place slices of freshly cut mangoes over it. And place the upper half of the cake.
  • Again apply whipped cream over the cake, try to smoothen it using palette knife, now place fresh mango slices unevenly all over the cake.
  • Keep the cake in refrigerator for 30 minutes
  • Relish the chilled Mango Siced Cake with family n friends.
