Ingredients
Serves 8
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup yogurt
4 ripe bananas
1 cup walnuts,coarsely crushed
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 cups cream
3/4 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup Cocoa powder
2 tsp coffee powder 4 tbsp warm water
2 bananas,cut in circular pieces
Directions
Beat the sugar and oil well. Add yogurt, vanilla essence and mashed bananas.
Sieve in the flour,baking powder and salt and mix lightly. Add on the walnuts.
Put the mix in a prepared pan and bake in a preheated oven for 50 min at 180 degree Celsius.
Whip the cream and icing sugar till stiff peaks
In a dish,put bottom layer of cut pieces of bread. Brush it on top with coffee mix.
Spread a layer of whipped cream and then put cut pieces of banana.
Top this layer with bread again followed by coffee mix and a layer of whipped cream.
Top the whole with cocoa powder dusting.
Let it cool in the fridge for an hour or two and then serve cold
