Ingredients
Serves 8
1 1/4 cup wheat flour
2 banana
1/4 cup Cocoa powder
3/4 cup sugat
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup water
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup sugar
6 tbsp cornflour
4 tbsp Cocoa powder
2 tbsp oil
1 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
10-12 chopped almonds
Directions
In a bowl mash the bananas well
Add sugar,oil and water to it and mix well. add vanilla essence and lemon juice too.
Sieve all the dry ingredients and mix them into wet ingredients.
Bake in a greased dish at 180 degree Celsius for 35-40 minutes .
Let it cool then demould the cake
For the frosting mix sugar, cornflour ,cocoa powder and salt in a sauce pan.
Whisk in water and heat on medium flame till it starts to boil. Boil it for 1-2 minutes then remove off the flame and whisk in oil and vanilla essence.
Cool and spread on a cooled cake
Top with chopped almonds and serve
