Microwave Sesame Seeds Laddoos

  • 1/2 cup roasted sesame seeds

  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts

  • 1/4 cup roasted chana dal

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1 small pinch of salt

  • 1/4 cup jaggery cut into very small pieces

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1/2 tsp ghee to grease Palms

  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder

  • 1/8 cup molasses

    Combine sesame seeds chana dal peanuts cardamom powder nutmeg and salt and set aside

  • 02

    In a microwave safe bowl add jaggery, molasses and water. Stir well in microwave for 1 minute

    Microwave for 30 seconds again the syrup reaches hard ball consistency at this point. To test this in a bowl of water put a fat drop of syrup, roll it between your fingers and dropped it on the hard surface

    It should be hard consistency making a small sound when dropped it took only one and half minute in microwave which is 1000 w(individual time may vary according to your microwave

    Mix in all sesame mixture and combine well with the syrup

    Grease your palms well with the ghee and roll the laddoos

  • 07

    Set aside to cool for a few minutes.
