Rice: 2 Cups
Hot Water: 3 Cups
Desi Ghee: 1 Tablespoon
Jeera/Cumin Seeds: 1 Teaspoon
Salt: 1 Teaspoon
Wash the Rice thoroughly until the water runs clear.
Combine all the above ingredients in a large Microwave Safe glass/ceramic bowl.
Cover with Microwave Safe Lid or vented Plastic Wrap.
Place the bowl in the Microwave Oven.
Select the “Rice” setting. Press “On”.
*It takes about 20 minutes to cook perfect Rice. The results are exactly the same as Jeera Pulao that’s cooked in a Pan in the conventional way.
Let it rest for 2 minutes before taking it out.
Fluff gently with the help of two forks.
Serve hot with Chole/Rajma/Daal.
*Note: Cooking Time depends upon the Cooking Power/Wattage of the Microwave Oven - Mine is 1200 Watts.
