Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • Sesame Seeds, 1/2 Cup


  • Dalia (Broken wheat), 1/4 cup


  • Cardamom powder ¼ tsp


  • Salt 1/8 tsp or less


  • For the syrup- Jaggery 1/4 Cup broken in small pieces


  • Water 1 tbsp


  • 1 tablespoon Water


  • Ghee to grease palms

Directions

  • Take sesame seeds in a microwave safe bowl and roast it for 1 minute or until it get fragrant.
  • Combine all the ingredients in this bowl mentioned till salt and keep aside.
  • In another microwave safe bowl take jaggery and water. Stir well and microwave for 1 minute.
  • This jaggery syrup must match the hard ball consistency at this point. For this test it - In a bowl of water put a drop of the syrup and roll it in between your fingers and drop it on the counter or a hard surface. If it is not matching the consistency then microwave it again for 20 seconds.
  • Mix the ingredients of both bowls(i.e. sesame mixture combine well with the jaggery syrup).
  • Grease your palms well with the ghee and roll the ladoos.
