Ingredients

Serves 10

  • Sesame Seeds, 1/2 Cup

  • Dalia (Broken wheat), 1/4 cup

  • Cardamom powder ΒΌ tsp

  • Salt 1/8 tsp or less

  • For the syrup- Jaggery 1/4 Cup broken in small pieces

  • Water 1 tbsp

  • 1 tablespoon Water

  • Ghee to grease palms

Directions

    Take sesame seeds in a microwave safe bowl and roast it for 1 minute or until it get fragrant.

    Combine all the ingredients in this bowl mentioned till salt and keep aside.

    In another microwave safe bowl take jaggery and water. Stir well and microwave for 1 minute.

    This jaggery syrup must match the hard ball consistency at this point. For this test it - In a bowl of water put a drop of the syrup and roll it in between your fingers and drop it on the counter or a hard surface. If it is not matching the consistency then microwave it again for 20 seconds.

    Mix the ingredients of both bowls(i.e. sesame mixture combine well with the jaggery syrup).

    Grease your palms well with the ghee and roll the ladoos.
