Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • ForCrust- All Purpose Flour 2cups


  • Carom seeds(Ajwain)- 1/4 tsp


  • Hot oil( for moin) - 6 tsp


  • Salt 1/4 tsp or to taste


  • Water 1 cup or as required


  • For stuffing- Boiled Potatoes- 2


  • peas 1/4 cup ( frozen) thaw


  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp Salt


  • Coriander leaves 1/4 cup


  • Oil- 1 tsp


  • Cumin seeds- 1/4 tsp


  • Asafoetida- 1 pinch


  • Coriander seeds crushed- 2 pinch


  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp


  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp or to taste


  • Mango Powder- 1 tsp ( the filling should be tangy)

Directions

  • For Dough- Take the flour and required amount of water in a mixing bowl and make a dough.Keep it covered with a wet cloth for 15 mins. Note: Dough must be Little hard like poori dough.
  • For Stuffing- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin, asafoetida, coriander seeds.
  • Switch off the flame. Add coriander leaves.
  • Let the mixture cool down.
  • Now divide the dough in 5 parts. Roll it in round disk. Cut this into square with the knife.
  • Stuff the filling around one side of square.
  • To stick the ends make a paste is 1tbsp wheat flour & little water. Make sure the ends are pressed firmly & use the paste to stick the ends.
  • The filling should be little and should not be seen from the slits. It needs lot of patience and time.
  • Preheat microwave at 180°C.
  • Line the rings on baking tray or microwave safe plate.
  • Bake it for 20-25 minutes.
  • Take it out carefully and let it cool for 2-3 minutes so that it becomes handy to serve.
  • Enjoy healthy and baked version of samosa.
