Total Time : 30 Min

Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Tuna: 1 Can/About 200 Grams

  • Pasta: 2.5 Cups

  • Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup: 300 ml.

  • Mushrooms: 100 Grams (Chopped)

  • Frozen/Thawed Peas: 2 Cups

  • Frozen/Thawed Carrot: 2 Cups

  • Milk: 3/4 Cup

  • Cheddar Cheese: 1/2 Cup (Shredded)

Directions

  • Intro: This is a completely Oil-Free/Fat-Free recipe. The taste & texture of the Pasta is exactly like the one that is boiled in a Pot on the Gas/Electric Stove. *The Cup size used here is standard Baking Cups.
  • (A) To cook the Pasta: Place 2.5 Cups of Pasta in a large Microwave Safe glass bowl. Add 3.5 Cups of hot water. Cover with Microwave Safe Lid or vented Plastic Wrap. Select the “Pasta” setting if that option is available on your Microwave Oven. OR Cook on High Power 10 (P10) for 10 minutes OR until Al Dente. *You may open the door & check after 7 minutes. You may need to add some more hot water if you think it’s dried-up.
  • (B) To cook the Tuna Casserole: Drain the liquid from the Tuna Can. Flake it with the help of a fork.
  • In a 3-Quart Microwave Safe Casserole, Combine all the above ingredients, except the Cheese. Stir well.
  • Cover with Microwave Safe Lid or vented Plastic Wrap.
  • Cook at Power Level 6 (P6) for 15 minutes.
  • Top with the Cheddar Cheese. Serve hot with Chili Flakes sprinkle on top & Hot/Chili Sauce.
  • Note: Cooking Time depends upon the Cooking Power of the Microwave Oven - Mine is 1200 Watts.
