  • 10 chicken tenderloins

  • 3 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce

  • 1 tsp hot sauce

  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp dried cilantro (or parsley)

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

  • 10 Wooden skewers


  • Clean and trim off any chicken fat or skin. Wash under running water and drain thoroughly. Pat dry with paper napkins.
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, Sriracha sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper powder, red chilli flakes, dried cilantro, and salt to taste. Mix well.
  • Marinate the chicken in the dressing for at least 30 minutes.
  • Thread the chicken tenders on to the wooden skewers. Place them on a microwave safe glass dish or plate.
  • Microwave at high power for 3 minutes initially. Turn over the skewers and microwave further for 4 minutes. Check to see if chicken is tender. If not, microwave further for a minute or more.
  • Serve with Sriracha sauce or use them in wraps.
