1/2 kg carrot
100 gm mawa
2-3 tbsp malai fresh
1/2 cup sugar or to taste
1/4 cup chopped dryfruits cut into two halves.. (Cashews and almonds)
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1 tbsp ghee
First peel and grate (finely grated)the carrots.
In a microsafe bowl add grated carrots and fresh malai ,Cook for 5 min.
After 5 mins , Stir and again keep in microwave for another 5 mins.to cook.
Now add mawa and cook for 3-4 mins.
Add sugar, mix well. Cook for another 2-3 mins.
Add ghee, nuts, cardamom powder. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Easy , quick and less oily Gajar halwa is ready.
