Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup semolina


  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • 1/2 cup milk


  • 1/2 cup curd


  • 2 tbsp ghee/butter/oil


  • 1/2 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder


  • 2 tbsp nuts powder(cashews almonds pista)


  • 1 pinch saffron


  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

Directions

  • Gether all ingredients at one place.grease cake pot with little oil/butter and keep aside.Also soak saffron in little milk and keep aside.
  • Now in a blender jar add sugar , milk ,ghee/butter/oil(any one)and blend till smooth.
  • Now in a bowl add curd , baking powder , baking soda and whisk well.
  • Add blended mixture (milk sugar butter)to the curd bowl and mix well .
  • Now add Semolina ,desiccated coconut and mix well again.
  • Now add cardamom powder , vanilla extract , saffron soaked milk and nuts powder .mix well.
  • Now pour the prepared batter into a greased pan and bake for 40-45 mins in preheated microwave oven on 180℃ .convection mode.
  • check by inserting toothpic.and let it cool before cutting and serving.(cut it into desired pieces)
  • Less oily , delicious Semolina covonut cake is ready to serve.
