Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 500gm sole fish cute into 2" cubes

  • 3 tbsps besan

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1st marinade :- 2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

  • 1/4 th teaspoon salt

  • 2nd marinade :- 1/2 cup curd ( hang for 30 minutes)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain

  • 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

  • Oil just to greece the aluminium foil, (approximately 1/2 teaspoon)

Directions

    Rub the fish well with besan and lemon juice to remove the fishy odour. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Wash well and pat dry on a kitchen towel. Prick fish all over with a fork.

    Marinate in 1st marinade for 1/2 an hour.

    In a bowl mix all the ingredients of the 2nd marinade. Add fish, refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

    At serving time, cover rack with foil, greece it, place fish on it. Grill for 8 min, turning once in between.
