Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Bananas 2 fully ripped

  • Wheat flour 1 1/2 cup

  • Sugar 1 cup

  • Baking powder 2tsp

  • Curd 1/2 cup

  • Oil 2tbsp

  • Walnuts coarsely chopped 1/4th cup

  • Vanilla essence 2tsp

  • Cinnamon powder 1tsp

  • Cardamom powder 1tsp

  • Egg 1 large

Directions

    Mash bananas with fork nicely.

    Add 2 tbsp of oil and mix. Add curd and mix it well.

    Add sugar and baking powder and nicely mix it till sugar dissolves

    Add cinnamon powder, egg, cardamom powder and vanilla essence and mix it.

    Now sieve the flour and add to the batter in small portions and mix it.

    Don't beat or over mix or else it will be hard.

    Line the loaf pan with oil paper.

    Mix the walnuts with plain flour and add to the batter and mix

    Pour the batter into the pan and coat it with sliced bananas

    In convection mode bake it for 180 c for 35 minutes

    Since we are using wheat flour it takes extra 5-10 minutes to bake

  • 12

    Use of curd makes the cake super soft
