1 cup All purpose flour (plain flour)
1 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp instant dry yeast
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp curd
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup Warm water (or as needed)
4 tbsp condensed milk (or as per sweetness)
8-10 cashew nuts
8- 10 almonds
1 tbsp pista flakes
1 tbsp coconut desiccated coconut
1 tsp cardamom powder
First for making dough- in a bowl add flour ,corn flour , sugar ,dry yeast and mix well. Now add milk, curd, required warm water and knead a soft dough...Add butter and again knead well for 5 min..Or until soft and elastic.
Pour tsp of oil or ghee on dough.. Spread and cover with a cling wrap...Set aside atleast 1hour.
For preparing filling -- In a mixer blender jar add cashews and almonds..And blend them to make powder.(you can add chopped nuts instead of powder.)
Now in a pan add mawa and stir/ roast for few mins .Add condensed milk (you can add sugar/bura too instead of condensed milk )and mix well..Add prepared cashew -almond, powder..And add all ingredients of filling one by one and mix until well combined.Switch off the flame and take out the filling mixture in a bowl and keep aside to cool.
Now take out the dough from bowl and again knead it for a min.Divide it into 8 equal portions and roll each into puri sized roll .Place the prepare stuffing long on the one side and roll the dough to cover the stuffing and slice the remaining dough into strips using a knife. Wrap those strips on the covered filling and tuck in the remaining strips in the bottom or cut out the extra.
Place them on a greased baking tray and brush with little ghee and keep aside for 15 min.to rise.
Keep the tray in preheated microwave oven for 30min or until golden brown on 180℃.convection mode.
Delicious baked sweet rolls are ready.
