Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 6 karela's


  • Oil 1 teaspoon( just for greecing karela's and tawa)


  • For masala: 2 small onion's (grated and squeezed, discard the juice)


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon dry/red chilli powder


  • 1 teaspoon amchur powder


  • Salt to taste (approximately 1/2 teaspoon)

Directions

  • Wash karela's and put salt on it, keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • For the masala, take a borosil bowl, add all the ingredients (onion, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder except amchur & salt). Keep in microwave for 4 minutes.
  • When it beeps, take out, toss it nicely and add karela's skin along with amchur and salt.
  • Now wash the karela's again and pat dry on kitchen towel napkin.
  • Stuff the karela's with the onion masala mixture. Cover it nicely, using white thread, seal it.
  • Now place high rack inside the microwave.
  • Using micro grill option, place the tawa above on high rack, set the temperature 20 minutes,and press start.
  • When it beeps, open the door, changes the side's of karela.
  • Now this time use grill option mode, set the temperature 10 minutes and press start.
  • Nice healthy stuffed karela's are ready to be served.
  • Serve hot
