Oil 1 teaspoon( just for greecing karela's and tawa)
For masala: 2 small onion's (grated and squeezed, discard the juice)
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon dry/red chilli powder
1 teaspoon amchur powder
Salt to taste (approximately 1/2 teaspoon)
Wash karela's and put salt on it, keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
For the masala, take a borosil bowl, add all the ingredients (onion, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder except amchur & salt). Keep in microwave for 4 minutes.
When it beeps, take out, toss it nicely and add karela's skin along with amchur and salt.
Now wash the karela's again and pat dry on kitchen towel napkin.
Stuff the karela's with the onion masala mixture. Cover it nicely, using white thread, seal it.
Now place high rack inside the microwave.
Using micro grill option, place the tawa above on high rack, set the temperature 20 minutes,and press start.
When it beeps, open the door, changes the side's of karela.
Now this time use grill option mode, set the temperature 10 minutes and press start.
Nice healthy stuffed karela's are ready to be served.
