Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Dry Roast Ingredients:- 1) Desiccated coconut 1/2 cup


  • 2) Sesame seeds 1/2 cup


  • 3) Bay leaves 2-3


  • 4) Rock flower (Dagad phool)


  • 5) Few Dried red chilies


  • 6) 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds


  • 7) Coriander seeds (sabut dhaniya) 2-3 teaspoons


  • 8) 2 inch Cinnamon stick (dalchini)


  • 9) Cloves (laung) 1 teaspoon


  • 10) Black peppercorns 1/2 teaspoon


  • Grinding Ingredients:- 1) 3 eggs


  • 2) Pinch Hing (Asafoetida)


  • 3) Haldi 1/4 teaspoon (Turmeric powder)


  • 4) ½ teaspoon salt


  • 5) Kali mirch 1/4 teaspoon (Black pepper)


  • 6) Milk 1 cup


  • 7) Maida 1 cup


  • 8) Maharashtra's famous Goda Masala 1 teaspoon


  • 9) Mustard paste 1 teaspoon


  • Frying ingredients:- 1) 2 Tablespoons Oil


  • 2) 1 Big onion cut into long and thick pcs


  • 3) Chicken Sausages plain 5 pcs


  • Garnishing Ingredients:- 1) Few Curry Leaves chopped


  • 2) Goda Masala Powder to sprinkle

Directions

  • 1) Take a non-stick tawa, add oil to it,heat well.
  • 2) Now add onion and brown it nicely.
  • 3) After 2 minutes add chicken sausages to it .
  • 4) Now take a Borosil glass baking dish.
  • 5) Place in layer as to cover all over the glass dish with the fried onions and sausages.
  • 6) On the other side roast all the dry ingredients in a non-stick pan and make powder masala of it, this will be our special Goda Masala, which we will use in it
  • 7) On the third side , break eggs in a mixer grinder, add all ingredients of (grinding ingredients one by one). Keep aside.
  • 8) Now put this egg mixture above the layered chicken sausages onion mixture .
  • 9) Put chopped curry leaves on top and sprinkle black pepper on top. keep aside.
  • 10) Now preheat the oven at 180 degree for 10minutes.
  • 11) When it beeps, place the baking dish inside and give 35minutes.
  • 12) Yummilicious Tode in Hole is ready to serve.
  • 13) Sprinkle Maharashtrian Goda Masala on top & Serve hot.
