Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/2 cup quick oats


  • 1/2 cup green moong dhal


  • 1 Handful curry patta


  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera


  • 1/2 inch grated ginger


  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon to taste Salt


  • 2 teaspoon ghee


  • 1 green chilli


  • 1 pinch hing


  • 1 teaspoon tamarind pulp


  • 4 cups water


  • 1 handful Coriander

Directions

  • Soak the green moong overnight and pressure cook for 4 whistles and salt and keep aside.
  • Now take a pan add one teaspoon ghee jeera hing and cook well then add 4 cups of water and salt to taste and grated ginger at this stage make it come to a boil. Now add the oats and cook well. Once cooked add the cooked moong daal with pepper powder and make it come to a boil.
  • Now add tamarind pulp and make close and simmer it for 2 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander and before serving add ghee to it.
