Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cups coarsely powdered oats


  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped fenugreek leaves


  • 2 tbsp semolina


  • 2 tbsp low fat curd


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)


  • 1 tsp coriander cumin powder


  • 1 tsp green chilli finely chopped or paste


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

  • First coarsely grind the oats in mixer jar.
  • In a bowl add all ingredients..Mix well...And knead a dough (do not use water add curd if required so they becomes soft)
  • Grease ur Palm with little oil and make equal sized muthiyas from the dough.
  • Meanwhile prepare a steamer... place all muthiyas in steamer..And steam for 10-15..
  • For tempering...Heat tsp of oil in nonstick pan...Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds...When they crackle..Add sesame seeds...Stir for 30secs...And add all steamed muthiya in pan...And mix well... Switch off the flame.
  • Oats methi muthiya is ready to serve...Serve hot with low fat curd, green chutney... Whatever you prefer.
