Ingredients

Serves : 1
  • 1 cup rolled oats


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1/2 tspn turmeric powder


  • 1/4 tspn mustard seeds


  • 1/4 tspn cumin seeds


  • 4/5 curry leaves


  • 1 tspn urad daal


  • 5/6 cashew nuts


  • 1 tbsp chopped onion


  • 1 tbsp chopped tomatoes


  • 1 tbsp chopped carrot


  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh beans


  • 1 tbsp chopped Capsicum


  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaved


  • 1 tspn chopped green chilies


  • 1/2 tspn grated ginger


  • 1 tspn salt


  • 1/2 tspn sugar


  • 1 tspn lemon juice


  • 1 cup water

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan,add mutard seeds,cumin seeds and allow to splutter.add cashew nuts, urad daal and curry leaves and saute for a minute on low flame.now add the chopped onions, chopped green chilies and saute for a minute.
  • Now add chopped veggies and salt,sugar,turmeric powder mix well now cook for 2 minutes on low flame .now pour water and bring to a boil, cook for 5 minutes on high flame or till the water is half absorbed, add the rolled oats and mix well. place lid for 3 minutes. now turn off heat and add lemon juice and coriander leaves mix well, now Oats Upma is ready.
