Heat oil and add mustard.
Add bay leaf and wait till mustard pops up.
Add onion and salt, when it turns brown add tomato.
When tomato turns mushy add tondali and saute for a minute.
meanwhile wash rice and drain excess water.
Add rice into the cooker and mix it well.
Add salt, turmeric, chilly paste and saute.
Add water and close the lid for 3 whistles.
Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
