Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup rice


  • 1 cup sliced tondali


  • 1 onion sliced


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 1 tsp green chilly paste


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/4 tsp haldi


  • 1 cup water


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 tsp mustard


  • 1 bay leaf

Directions

  • Heat oil and add mustard.
  • Add bay leaf and wait till mustard pops up.
  • Add onion and salt, when it turns brown add tomato.
  • When tomato turns mushy add tondali and saute for a minute.
  • meanwhile wash rice and drain excess water.
  • Add rice into the cooker and mix it well.
  • Add salt, turmeric, chilly paste and saute.
  • Add water and close the lid for 3 whistles.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
